A design hotel in the South of Corsica is not just about beautiful furniture. At Hôtel Villa Padulaccia, everything starts from the location: an architect’s villa set between the sea and the maquis in Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio, whose interior architecture was entrusted to Géraldine Meurisse. Guided tour.
A house set in the landscape
From the sky, the hotel blends into the vegetation: its roof terraces are green, its facades are clad in stone. The volumes extend over several levels; large glass windows open the rooms towards the sea and the hills, and pergolas extend the living spaces onto the terraces. The landscape is not a backdrop to be viewed through a window: it enters the house.

The interior designed by Géraldine Meurisse
To envision the interior volumes, the hotel engaged the interior designer Géraldine Meurisse. Three elements are present throughout: natural materials, bespoke furniture, and carefully selected works of art. The result is an elegant and refined setting that blends harmoniously with its surroundings.
In the living rooms, this translates into light-colored sofas around the fireplace, large sculptural hangings above the table, a round table where one can gather, a kitchen with dark wooden facades and a glass wine cellar, illuminated like a showcase.

Rooms are like travel diaries
Each room has a name (L’Amour, Pays des Merveilles, Carnet de Voyage, Belle Demoiselle, Mon Paradis, Bouquet de Roses) and an atmosphere that is unique to it. You’ll find organic-shaped mirrors, handcrafted headboards, printed fabrics, colorful walls in some rooms, and bathrooms with large mineral panels. All share the same comfort: king-size bed, Tempur mattresses, air conditioning, and private bathrooms. To discover them one by one, read our guide to suites and rooms.
The bull, the olive tree and the star
The identity of the hotel is evident in its logo, which hides several symbols. The trunk and the olive branch evoke the Corsican soul and authenticity. The bull expresses the island’s roots and the hotel’s identity. The sea and the mountains recall the two natural pillars of the island. Finally, a discreet star at the heart of the logo embodies the spirit and elegance of the place.
The bull is also found in sculpture, in the garden and at the entrance of the hotel.

An architecture that changes with the light
The house changes in appearance throughout the day. In the morning, the stone is clear and the windows let in the light from the east. In the evening, the lighting reveals the stone walls, the pool reflects on the façades, and the terraces become open-air living rooms. The photo gallery shows the hotel during the day as at dusk.
