How to get to Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio: plane, ferry, car

The Villa Padulaccia Hotel is located in Pinarello, the seaside hamlet of Sainte-Lucie-de-Porto-Vecchio, on the east coast of Corsica du Sud. Sainte-Lucie is the village on the coastal side of the commune of Zonza (postal code 20144), about 4 km from the hotel by road. Here’s how to get there, depending on whether you arrive by plane, boat or car.

By plane

Figari Airport South Corsica: the closest

It is the most convenient airport: about 38 km by road, or about fifty minutes by T10 southwards, then the D859.

Bastia Poretta Airport

Further north, at about 116 km. It takes 2 hours to 2:15 by the T10, which runs along the east coast. A good option if flights to Figari are full or more infrequent on your dates.

Ajaccio Airport Napoleon Bonaparte

It is about 134 km by mountain road (Ospedale, Zonza, Aullène), that is 2 hours 30 to 3 hours, on a slow and winding road. You can also take the coast and Sartène: the journey is longer in kilometers (about 154 km) for a comparable duration.

By ferry

The commercial port of Porto-Vecchio is the closest: about 17 km and 25 minutes by T10. If your ferry arrives in Bastia, it will take about 132 km and 2 h 20 to reach the hotel; from the port of Ajaccio, it will take about 135 km and 2 h 30.

The car remains the simplest option

On site, a car allows you to go to the beach, to Porto-Vecchio, to Bonifacio, or into the mountains at your own pace. If you prefer not to drive on arrival, the hotel organizes transfers from the airport: please specify this when booking.

The fire of Saint-Lucie in the summer

During the high season, the tricolor fire of Sainte-Lucie, on the T10, can cause waiting times of 30 minutes to an hour. A new road was opened in the summer of 2026 to relieve congestion at this intersection (Corse Net Infos, August 1st, 2026). In the middle of the summer, avoid peak hours if possible, and leave some time for a plane or ferry.

Without a car: the buses

No regular bus service runs to Pinarello all year round. The village of Sainte-Lucie is, however, served by the Bastia – Porto-Vecchio bus line, which passes through the Bastia airport during the season, and by the C line of the A Berlina intercommunal network to Porto-Vecchio. In summer, a seasonal line connects Conca, Sainte-Lucie, Pinarello and Porto-Vecchio.
